We blogged about Connor Olson last week and are sad to announce that he has died. We wish to send our sympathy to his family and friends.

Connor Olson, a senior at Tonganoxie High School who graduated in a special ceremony at the school last week, died Wednesday night at his home “surrounded by family and friends, just as he would have wanted it,” said his father, Martin Olson.
Connor, 18, fought bone cancer for more than a year. When his health took a turn in the last few days, the school organized a graduation ceremony just for him.
“I think the graduation gave him some closure, gave him a goal that he had worked very hard for,” Olson said.
No funeral arrangements have been made.
“His pain has been lifted,” Olson said. “He didn’t lose to cancer … it could not quash the spirit of the man.
