How do you measure progress?
The end of a school year is a natural time to reflect on how your child has progressed, there are standardized metrics for this purpose but with chidlren who have special needs those measures do not necessarily tell the entire story -- actually for any child a number or a grade does not "measure the man" so to speak.
What is important to you in evaluating how well your child is progressing?
I'd love to hear some stories about the progress that your child(ren) has made this year -- go ahead don't be shy - give your kids a shout out!

Where to start?? Start at www.elastamom.com---ha ha!!! Olivia is reading, she's spelling...but my favorite way she's progressed is that she feels and is TOTALLY INCLUDED!!!
Riley's newest reports from school tell me that he is starting to do patterns and knows the letters in his name. My favorite is when he bust out with 3 word phrases. I love to hear him talk!
