School Daze - Part 2

Last week we met Jason and his teacher - we did not learn that her name is Miss Anderson but it is!

Jason was unable to focus and the teacher had no info on why. We spoke about how tricky this can be and why and now we are at the point of discussing some ideas on what Miss Anderson can do in the classroom to see if she can help Jason focus on the work at hand.

Today's Tip:
Make sure to give kids assignments in short bursts...nothing too long and drawn out. If the project is long, give kids time to "shake the sillies out" put on a CD have them dance around for a minute or two and then focus back on project
Bonus Tip:

If the classroom is set up with clusters of desks: use study corrals: cardboard dividers to help focus kids when giving a test or particular assignment.
