Surprises

What has surprised you lately with regard to your child who has special needs?

Lately, I was surprised in both a good and a bad way by children I work with. One child was able to reach a benchmark much quicker than I had anticipated. I was quite surprised and thrilled. The other child is regressing and I was also quite surprised by that. Mostly because things were going along so well for him and then all of the sudden BOOM - brick wall.

There are so few surprises these days so when the happen they are remarkable.
