I recently came across this book and found it to be a great resource for parents.

This is a fun and interactive book that covers a variety of special needs including: Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, Blindness, Deafness and more.

I can see it being used in a school setting with the parent coming into to share information about special needs. Or, a cub scout or girl scout type of setting where kids are encouraged to learn about others.
